The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
After taking a long hiatus from theatre to continue his other career as Marketing Consultant Extraordinaire, Jason is happy to announce that he has been offered the role of "Chip Tolentino" in Weston Playhouse's production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee".

PBS "The Electric Company"
Jason lands a role in a spring episode of the newly-revived, "The Electric Company" on PBS. The episode is projected to air sometime in April of 09'.


“Honor” - NYC workshop
Jason is playing the role of "Hiroshi" (also known as "Amiens" from the Shakespeare version) in a workshop of a new musical, “Honor”, starring Jose Llana and produced by the Prospect Theater Company. Music and lyrics are by Jonathan Larson Award Winning composer, Peter Mills ("The Rockae") and the book is adapted from Shakespeare’s "As You Like it", by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. Cara Reichel also directs the production. The culmination of the workshop will be a staged reading of material from the show at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Rehearsals begin for Weston Playhouse
Jason has started rehearsals as Lun Tha in The King and I. He will be sharing the stage with Deborah Lew (Broadway’s Belle of Beauty and the Beast) as Tuptim, Joseph Anthony Foronda (Broadway’s Miss Saigon) as The King, Susan Haefner (Broadway’s Millie) as Anna, Alan Ariano (Broadway’s M. Butterfly) as Kralahome, and Makie Hirakawa Armstrong as Lady Thiang.

Lun Tha in The King and I

With thunderous applause and standing ovations, The King and I opened to a full 1,178-seat house at the Coeur D’Alene Theatre, which recently received national recognition by being named “A Northwest Powerhouse” by USA Today. The production includes a 17-piece orchestra, a revolving set, and an amazing multicultural cast with Jason playing the romantic lead role of Lun Tha.

  Rehearsals - Thoroughly Modern Millie!
Rehearsals have started for Thoroughly Modern Millie at The Little Theatre on the Square in Illinois! Jason plays the comical role of “Bun Foo”. This quirky musical comedy took home six Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2002.  The story takes place in Manhattan in the 1920s and revolves around the people who seek to discover themselves there.  Please look below at earlier news entries for dates and more info!


The King and I
Jason has been offered the romantic lead role of “Lun Tha” in Coeur d’Alene Theatre’s production of The King and I.  This production will take place in the beautiful Schuler Auditorium, the 1,178 seat - proscenium theatre.  Show dates are from August 5th – August 19th.


Thoroughly Modern Millie
Jason has just signed an equity contract to play the comical role of “Bun Foo” in The Little Theatre on the Square’s production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.  The production is from June 7th – 18th.

Miss Saigon North American Tour
First day of rehearsals for the final leg of the North American Tour of Miss Saigon directed by Broadway’s Mitchell Lemsky/Shidan Majidi and choreographed by Jodi Moccia!  After completing vocal rehearsals in New York City, the cast is flown to Michigan to block and launch the “farewell tour”.  For more information and dates, go to
